Dina Meyer is a New York native who was born in Forest Hills Queens. She made the move into Dix Hills Long Island just before she finished her senior high school. Dina Meyer has two brothers. Gregory is her older brother and Evan is her younger brother. Modeling was her first job within the business. She did it from age nine to sixteen. The beginning of her acting career was in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied the techniques of Sanford Meisner alongside Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock was among those who were trained by this method, as well as Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum Leslie Nielsen and Diane Keaton. She got her first part in the soap-opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate out to Los Angeles. After that, she was the lead in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she was able to do all her stunts herself, and established herself as an athlete. The agency she was represented by was Matt LeBlanc, so through her agent for talent, she was able to get a regular part on Friends.
